Debbie November 2024 Update: 40% of Execs Don’t Know Acquisition Costs🚨
Last month we started to ask CU and community bank execs what their account acquisition costs were - surprisingly, many of them just didn't know.
The data from our survey has started to roll in, and so far, the craziest stat is that 40% of you do not know your own account/member acquisition cost. We need to change this! Of those who do, the majority ranges anywhere from $300-$500.
We plan to publish the full results in the coming months, and if you want to get the full report, please make sure to take the survey yourself.
You may have also noticed our new newsletter format - we have shifted this newsletter to Substack as we plan on sharing this with the broader CU/banking community - building in public is the way to go. So please, share with your colleagues and friends. We will not only speak about under-the-hood Debbie updates, but also trends in fintech/CU technology, growth, and marketing. On to our regular programming below…

🚀 Our Roadmap
Point multipliers on recurring payments and direct deposits
We are now working on launching transaction-level rewards, along with multipliers for higher value activities such as direct deposit and recurring bill payments
Custom financial goals
Our product has largely focused on consumers with debt in the past - we have made changes over time to make our program more flexible for those who are looking to save and invest as well. We will be releasing a brand new UI in Q1 to adjust for more flexible goal-setting.
